At Kallisto Farms, here in Fallbrook, California, we grow a variety of flowers, delicious fruit and seasonal vegetable crops, trees, berries, herbs and vines, and raise chickens, ducks, and eggs.
Kallisto Farms is a hands-on, environmentally friendly operation from seed to plate. We start our seeds in a small greenhouse, then 'harden off' the seedlings on outdoor benches before planting them in the garden beds to mature. Each area and crop have its own irrigation drip or mist spray system to ensure efficient water management, accomplished with a Water Smart Irrigation timer connected to local weather stations.
Water is not the only earth-friendly process on the farm. When trees are pruned, we chip and compost the trimmings to return them to the soil as amendments later. We offer any excess greens as tasty feed to our own chickens and ducks - and to our neighbors' pigs and goats - so nothing goes to waste.
The diversity and efficiency of our farm are matched by the sublime flavor of our produce and the beauty of the decks overlooking the gardens enhanced by the many flowers being grown.
Kallisto Farms welcomes local Southern California, and especially Fallbrook organizations, to our venue for Educational Farm Tours, Farm-to-Table Meals or U-Pick Outings as charitable fundraisers.
Since we retired, we contemplated how to give back to our community. We are able to produce much more than we can consume and thus are able to use the fruits, nuts, flowers & vegetables as a fund-raising opportunity for our community.
Kallisto Farms offers a serenely beautiful venue deck space of 3,000 sq feet, including an outdoor kitchen and multiple shaded patio levels with handicap ramps and a spectacular view!

Farm Events include views of Palomar Mountain and the north San Diego rolling hills, which are a lovely backdrop for farm-to-table dining!
